"recent posts" widget for a different blog?

  Greetings! I’m using the Twenty Twelve theme and would like a widget that would list recent posts of a different blog. However, if it’s available, I’m not able to pick it out of the list of widgets. Could someone suggest a way for me to do this?

  Ok. Right after asking, I tried the RSS widget and that seems to work. If there’s a better way, please let me know.

  The RSS widget is the one to use and no there isn’t another one that does what you suggest, unless you think a Links widget is better for you. A Links widget will display the links you enter into your dashboard Links section when you create a Blogroll. It does not display links to the most recent posts on the blogs your enter. It displays only links to the blogs.
  create a blogroll http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/add-a-blogroll-link/
  display it in a Links widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/links-widget/

  Thanks for your help. I think I’ll stick with the RSS widget, as I like how it displays titles of and links to specific posts.
