recent problems

Hello,
My page is https://soirsblog.wordpress.com and I have 3 problems:1. Don’t know how to make comments appear with the colour D4D4D4. If you can fix it yourself, much obliged.
2. Comment ratings don’t work (I selected it, but nothing, they disappeared a few days ago)
3. The polls don’t show on the page. They were all here, now they’re gone, a few days ago also: https://soirsblog.wordpress.com/demos/If you can help in any way, thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
3. The polls don’t show on the page. They were all here, now they’re gone, a few days ago also: https://soirsblog.wordpress.com/demos/
I found eleven polls on the “demos” page.
2. Comment ratings don’t work (I selected it, but nothing, they disappeared a few days ago)
I’m not aware of a “comment ratings” option for WordPress.com sites. Where did you select that option?

Changing the colour of comments will probably require CSS customization. Do you have the custom design upgrade?
-
Nope, I still don’t see any in ‘demos’. The page is empty (strange, how come you still see them? a lost cookie?).
Comment ratings is an option in Rating Settings. I selected it: doesn’t work.
No, I don’t have the upgrade. I wish something could be done to change just that colour detail. -

The issue is local, perhaps browser related. See the Browser Issues support page for suggestions.

Okay. I’ll tag the topic for staff attention. Please wait for staff to respond.

Staff will be able to properly address this issue as well.

Hi @medenagan,
1. If you get Premium, which supports CSS, this will do the trick:
.commentlist li { color: #d4d4d4; }2. and 3. Can you confirm whether you can see them in another browser? I’m wondering if you have a browser plugin that is blocking them.
-
It works in all other browsers – Chrome, Opera, Explorer, Novo. In Explorer, nothing; can’t see the demos page and the comment ratings. Tried to clear the cache, restarted the system. Nothing.
Yes, I know you can do things with CSS. I don’t have it, nor will I. That’s why I was asking for help. -

Okay, I would guess that one of them is conflicting somehow. If you’re willing to disable one at a time til you find the culprit, that would be great. Otherwise, if you’d like, you can take comfort in knowing the ratings work well everywhere else. Cheers!

I guess the comments, one of my real concerns, have the same colour, though… What can I say. Thank you.

Sure.
For polls, this is how I see the page:
https://soirsblog.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/crop01.jpgFor comments, they are too dull, I would like them to have the same colour as the article text above (that is, B4B4B4):

-
Oh okay. Did you see my earlier replies?
For the color, you would need CSS support, which comes with a plan. You can get that here: http://store.wordpress.com/plans
Then you could use the code I posted:
.commentlist li { color: #d4d4d4; }For the polls: they are working in other browser, including Firefox on other machines. You’ll need to troubleshoot which plugin is causing them to disappear.

20 messages and we’re perfectly nowhere. You know what, let’s forget everything.
All the best. -
Okay, we’ll close this. The theme works as it was designed, so you might consider switching to something with a bit more contrast if customization is out of the question. Best wishes.
