Recent problems with the Export Tool

    Hi,

    I frequently make local backups of my blog using the export tool in WP. Over the last 2-3 months, I have noticed that the tool in question has become almost unusable.

    Based on a brief search of this forum, it is clear that I am not the only person with that problem. So why is it happening and what is going on? Is there another way to perform smooth and regular backups of my blog, like we could until 2-3 months ago.
