  Hi! I recently renewed my domain name from Go Daddy and wanted to transfer it to WordPress. Do I have to pay for it again?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  In order to transfer your domain to WordPress.com, you will need a WordPress.com paid plan.
  You can find more information about transferring a domain you own to WordPress.com on this support document.

  Hi there,

  Just to add to that, when you transfer your domain to us it will be renewed for another year as part of the process, so you won’t lose any of the time on the domain for which you’ve already paid GoDaddy.
