recently my post experience delayed visibility in selected categories when I hit post

  There seems to be a delay (sometimes lengthy) to visibility of the blog once I hit the post button. I have one that I posted today and after 3 hrs it is not listed in any of the categories I selected. I tried to re-post a couple of times and still nothing in categories. Does this mean WordPress has censored the post for some reason?

  We don’t censor our users.

  I took a look at some of the Categories you’ve assigned your latest posts and I’m seeing your posts appear there as they should.

  Catholic:

  Abortion:
  http://awordfrommalachi.com/category/abortion/

  Could you explain where you are looking that you do not see your posts? Thanks.

  I’ve tested this out for you. Everything appears immediately when I do my test. You may simply need to refresh your site in order to view the newest posts.

  The next time you publish a post, go to http://awordfrommalachi.com/ in a new tab, and refresh the window. Let me know if you see your post.

  Thanks Robyn for the timely response. It is usually see it in the TAG/SECTION

  For example I posted a blog ‘1962… a year that will live in infamy’.

  The categories were Religion, Islam, Catholic, Christianity, etc…

  Usually right after hitting post to my blog and can click on wordpress.com/tag/religion or islam or catholic or christianity and see the recent post. For the last couple of post this has not been the case.

  When I look in my blog it is shows posted and in the correct categories. I just do not see it in the ‘tag’ section as a NEW post.

  Sorry if I am missing something.

  You send me a link to the WordPress.com Reader. I thought posts weren’t appearing on your own site!

  The posts will not display real-time in the link you provided. It is not always an automatically synched page.

  Additionally, there are some common reasons why tagged posts may not appear in the Reader. I thought this document might help:
