  Hi, I need to setup email with my wordpress.com domain name.

  But cannot see how, and where I set this aup.

  Please help.

  Hi Richard.

  I have looked at the add help pages, but they are not really much help for a complete novice.

  It would be a big help if someone could show me how to get this working in the simplest terms, Short of moving the domain to my regular host.

  Hi!

  In order to set up email on your domain, the first thing you’ll need to do is choose an email provider.

  We offer a list of providers here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

  Once you select your provider, try following the setup instructions that we offer, or let me know if you need more help.

  Hi Richard.

  Ok I have these settings from google apps to verify my wordpress domain. I have been on the Domains/custom DNS records page, but have had no luck setting it up.

  (from the google apps Verify your ownership of http://studioonnie.com page)
  CNAME label/host = BXZMCRAB27I3
  CNMAE Destination / Target: gv-VKL7HJLWC3EJWUTES34U5N3I7DN2UOFYZ4CQF5LJRAWOA7HEU4JA.domainverify.googlehosted.com.

  I have read all the help sections on this but it has not helped. Lets just imagine for a minute that I had never seen a computer before 2013 :-)
  and that should reveal the level of help I need to setup this up.

  Hi!

  I have put the CNAME record on your DNS page:
  https://studioonnie.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=studioonnie.com

  Can you now go back to your Google Dashboard and click the Verify button?

  Just in case it doesn’t work, can you also see if you can get the TXT record instead of the CNAME record?

  Once you’ve successfully verified, I’ll help you add the email as well.

  Ok, I’ve added the appropriate records to activate email for your domain now. It should begin to work in a few hours. Let me know if it doesn’t.
