Recieving mail through the 'contact us' section

My friend sent me a message through the contact us section on my website to test it out but I’m not sure how to find the message! Nothing has come through so I don’t know if it just didn’t work or whether I just don’t know where it’s sending messages too. Thanks in advance!

When a user submits your contact form, it will be emailed to the author of the post/page (to the email address that they have on file for their WordPress.com account), and the subject line will be the title of your post.

As @geoffreyshilling said, contact form submissions should go to your email address you use for your WordPress.com account. They will also appear under the Feedback tab in the WP-Admin dashboard, here:
https://edcstunts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=feedbackHowever, looking at that page it doesn’t look like you’ve had any contact form submissions yet. It’s possible that when your friend submitted the form it did not go through, otherwise it would have been showing on that page.
