Recieving muliple alerts for likes by same person on a post

  This is the post I am referring to : https://hungrypandadiaries.wordpress.com/2020/09/09/journey-to-the-other-side/

  I have been receiving alerts almost every 10 minutes that below bloggers have liked this post:
  * https://en.gravatar.com/jzee9
  * https://en.gravatar.com/trafficzionmethod
  * https://en.gravatar.com/bloggingtipga

  It’s the same post, so ideally I should have received only one alert, but I have been getting alerts every 10 mins.

  Hi there,

  Did you get these notifications in your browser, via email, or via the mobile app?

  I only see one set of notifications if I check the notifications drop-down for your account, so this might just be a glitch with a particular platform resending the notifications, rather than the bloggers in questions actually unliking and re-liking your post multiple times.

  On my email – 29 times
  On my phone – probably the same number

  They have stopped now finally! But I am curious why this happened.

  Hi there,

  Has this only happened with the particular post or have you had this issue pop up in the past? Glad that it stopped, but please let us know if this happens again, as we can determine whether or not it was one time glitch isolated to this instance or some greater issue.
