Recipe shortcode issue
-
Hello,
I recently created my first wordpress.com site and it’s a food blog. I am haveing hard time with the Recipe shortcode [recipe]. I copy-pasted the example from your article – https://en.support.wordpress.com/recipes/ and then I just replaced my values for my first recipe.
The problem is that the words ‘directions’, ‘time’, ‘servings’ are all in English once I preview my recipe, but the word ‘Difficulty’ is automatically translated in my own language – Bulgarian. Is there anything I can do prevent it from aumatically translate itself? My whole site is in Bulgarian and I assume the shortcode has come of its words translated, but not all. Also, it won’t be bad for all of the words to be in Bulgarian as well, but every time I try to replace ‘Servings’ with the word in Bulgarian, it doesn’t appear at all, guess Cyrillic alphabets are not supported. And (just poiting out), when the word ‘difficulty’ translates itself, I am writing it in English, not Bulgarian, and still it shows in Bulgarian.
Please can you give me an advice how to make my recipes look good – it there I can use the shortcode at least only in English? And do you have an idea if I can make a frame for a recipe card and a Print button without using the shortcode, so I can write all these stuff in Bulgarian?
My site is new. This is my first publication. I am giving you a link with the example of the recipe card – it is online only so you can see the problem and hopefully help me.

And yes, my site is free, and I am using wordpress.com, will turn to wordpress.org later on, but now I need to take care of my first publications, so I need to start from somewhere.Gergana
