Recipe shortcode will not work, PLEASE HELP

  I’ve tried in numerous ways to get the [recipe][/recipe] shortcode to work but it won’t. The code is am using is as follows:

  Saltfish 250g
  Self Raising Flour 500g
  Spring Onion 3 Stalks
  Scotch Bonnet Pepper 2 Pods
  Large Tomato
  Pinch of Thyme
  Black Pepper
  Sunflower Oil

  Boil the fish in water for 10 minutes, drain it off and then repeat once more. While it is boiling, chop the spring onion, tomato and scotch bonnets into tiny pieces and place them into a mixing bowl with the self raising flour and thyme. Run the boiled fish under cold water to cool it down, remove any bones and skin, then finely shred the fish and add it to the mixing bowl. Gradually add water to the mix until you have a sticky, soft and well mixed batter.

  Place your frying pan on a medium to high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Use a ladle or large spoon to scoop some of the batter mix up and into the now hot frying pan, add more spoonfuls until you have 3 or 4 fritters in the pan, turn them over frequently and fry until golden brown. Place the fritter onto some kitchen towel to absorb some of the oil and then serve them hot!!
