Recipe templates

  How can I create a recipe template without using the recipe card plug in? I’d like to use it but apparently I can’t? Please help, Many thanks. samara (mypaleoaddiction)

  Hi there!

  Unfortunately we do not have any plugins available, however if you would like to create a post template, what you can do is design a post exactly how you want it and then save it as a draft.

  Any time you want to create a new post using that template, click Add New from the Posts section and then scroll below the Edit window to where you can see the box titled “Writing Helper.”

  There’s a button which says “Copy a Post” which will then open a list of all of your posts, including the drafts. Click your template and you’re away and writing!

  Hi Amightywp. Thanks for your help. I started this blog only to post recipes and I thought that I’d signed up with the right company as all of the blogs I love are WorldPress too. I’m only learning now that they’re the .org side though. Is it possible to change over to that side so I can use the Recipe Card plugin? There’s no way I could create any post that would have the features and capabilities (nutritional info etc) that these plugins have.
