I would like a recipe and nutritional analysis plug-in to use on my blog? There is not a plug-in link on my dashboard. What recipe plug-in’s are available and how does one access them?, thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want to install plugins of any kind then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
There is no FTP access and no plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes.
See here for a full comparison WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/WordPress.com and WordPress.ORG have different logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Thanks, I thought perhaps I could make a custom theme page for my recipes, so all I would have to do was open a new blank page and fill it in. However, from my reading it doesn’t appear that wordpress.com allows one to make a custom theme page n their blog. Is this correct?

That is correct: we cannot use any plugins on WordPress.com, and there is no widget or shortcode which automatically generates nutritional information.
This is the ideas forum, so you may suggest something which suits your needs.

From reading my last post, I actually meant to say that I wanted to generate a custom template to use to post recipes, not custom theme page. I guess the same idea. In any case, it looks like WordPress does not allow custom template plug-in’s either. There optional widgets, couldn’t this be offered as one of them by WordPress?
As a nutritionist, there are several commercial (and some free web sites) that will generate nutritional analysis which are more than adequate.
I just need a method to post the resulting information, like the nutritional content on a commercial food product. Kind of a fill-in-blanks of a table, as well as the same thing for recipes. How much information does this form need to get this accomplished? Seems like it would be fairly easy to do. Thanks
