Reclaim access to my wordpress website

    Hi. I have a wordpress website that was accidentally re-directed to a WIX platform and then unlocked from that this morning (6 am EST/Toronto time, Sept 18), and now I can’t access anything from my wordpress website at http://www.buildingsoul.ca

    http://buildingsoul.ca/wp-login.php doesn’t work anymore. It’s like it doesn’t exist. Can you please help me to re-claim it and get it back. Domain name was with namecheap.com and buildingsoul.com was re-directed to it as well.

    Your site had not been hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere. This is why changing your domain nameservers to WordPress.com’s nameservers (ns1.wordpress.com etc.) hasn’t helped.

    We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    You would need to reach out to your hosting provider to see what nameservers you should be using. If you don’t remember what you had before, your domain registrar should have a log of what you had previously.
