Reclaim /portfolio URL?
-
Is there a way to reclaim the [mydomain]/portfolio URL after deactivating portfolio projects on writing settings?
Since I activated the portfolio projects, I can’t have my theme’s supported portfolio item on http://andsleonardo.com/portfolio. And apparently simply deactivating it is not the solution.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I checked your site, and your portfolio page is actually located here: http://andsleonardo.com/meu-portfolio/
If you’d like to have that page at http://andsleonardo.com/portfolio/ instead, you can change the page’s slug: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/new-page-screen/#page-title-and-permalink-url
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi Rachel,
I’ve tried this before. But look at what happens: http://andsleonardo.com/portfolio just leads me to my homepage.

Hm, you’re right — sorry about that! I’m checking with our team now to find out why that’s happening, and I’ll let you know as soon as I have an update from them.

Hi there,
It looks like this is just an issue with the transition back and forth between having Portfolios enabled and disabled. For a little bit right after you disable Portfolios, your regular portfolio page won’t be visible at http://andsleonardo.com/portfolio/ . However, once the change makes its way through all of our servers, that page will start working again.
I just refreshed your site on our end and checked, and now I’m seeing your portfolio page correctly here: http://andsleonardo.com/portfolio/
If it’s still not working for you, you may need to refresh your browser or clear your browser’s cache. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
