Reclaiming a deleted blog
-
Hi.
I’m preparing a migration from my own domain to a free WordPress blog. Following bad advice from a friend abou wiping out the whole content of my blog, I deleted it only to find out I can’t register the domain back, even though it’s available again. How can i get my URL back?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. Click that link and the URL is gone forever. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

It’s http://www.residentevilsac.wordpress.com, it just displays a message that the blog has been deleted.
But if it’s not recycled, then that’s it =/

If you’re talking about a custom domain you may still own it even if you deleted the underlying WP.com blog. Staff will need to become involved if this is the case, and we need all the details: the whatever.wordpress.com URL as well as the whatever.com URL.

residentevilsac.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site. You’re right – that’s it.
