Reclaiming a domain

I lost my domain in October because I couldn’t afford to pay the annual fee to re-up. Now, I have the money and I want the domain back. How do I do this?

If it was a custom domain name with domain mapping and it is still available then you should be able to just buy it again like you did the first time.
Try and buy the domain registration and map it to your blog. If you have trouble post back in this thread and ask the staff to check your blog for left over traces of your old domain name and clear things as required

I’m getting, “the domain stacey-rose.com has already been registered on WordPress.com. Please contact support if you would like to map this domain again.”
And the link to “contact support” isn’t working.
Knowing my luck someone took the domain, it’s been a few months.

Your name is available – so hold you breath for for a while longer and keep the faith – the staff needs to clear something in your blog
I have flagged this for the staff to help you
Look at:
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> and see if your old domain or mapping is still showing up – if so try canceling them – – look also in Domains

Nope, it’s not showing up in My Upgrades, just two themes I bought in like 2011. And it’s not showing up in Domains either.

Hi Stacey,
Could you try clearing your cache, then going to your Dashboard > Store > Domains and entering “stacey-rose.com” in the Domains field?
