reclaiming blog name that i created

  Hi, i created a blog name and I accidentally deleted it. I wanted to make one under that same name that I deleted, but it will not let me because ‘it is already in use.’ Could I possibly reuse the same name since I was the one that originally created and deleted it?

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here and you can confirm by reading:

  However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
