Those recommended blogs are Staff selected sites and unless they select yours it will not appear there. Freshly Pressed posts are also Staff selected https://en.support.wordpress.com/freshly-pressed/

I spotted something else that’s an impediment to getting good search engine positioning.

All reasons for non-appearance of posts on Topics pages can be found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts

As you have assigned a combined total that exceeds 15 Categories/Tags to your posts, you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal of the excess categories and/or tags note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.

You are are inadvertently spamdexing AKA tag spamming, you ought to be more concerned about your posts not appearing and being well ranked on Google and Bing SERPS (search results pages) than not appearing on the WordPress.com Topics pages because it’s search engines that send a significant flow of traffic to blogs and they can choose to bury your content where the sun don’t shine for that.

The rule of thumb is to assign to your posts the least, not the most, combined number of only relevant categories and tags that accurately describe the individual post content.

Lastly, It seems that you are using your blog posts to drive traffic to the same sites at the end of every post.

    That’s not a good plan.

That’s going to get your website suspended.

    What is?
    Thank you

Since I send the blog to pocket, tumblr, and several other sites readers may find my blog on a different site. So I refer them back to my original channel. Why would this be a bad thing and why is raincoaster busting out words like “suspended.”

In your commend about tag stuffing, the tags are pretty relevent. I can try to reduce the number. Are you saying that I should ttry to use 15 or less tags on my blog total or on each post? In one full month of blogging I have had over 600 views, so either I am not doing as much wrong as it seems or I could have had much greater results.
    Thanks for the input.

Why would it be bad to point back to the blog channel or my other blog channel? I guess I don’t understand the logic behind that could be penalized or even considered something worthy of suspension. Please elaborate.

I cleaned up three off of “Pain Points.” How could that be considered tag stuffing, those are all relevant tags. I will go through the other posts and try to sharpen up the tag focus. But I don’t believe it is super far off, please elaborate if I am completely missing it.
    Thank you

Staff freely suspend any website here they believe to exist purely for the purpose of driving traffic to an external website. ANY blog here that links to one particular external site in every post will get suspended,

So what you are saying is…I cannot link to my other blog. Does that seem funky to you? Because I am linking to my other blog. Are we on the same page? One of my blogs linking to my other blog with other blogging information and topics. A blogger linking his blogging site to his other blogging site. Not a sales page, not a landing page for a fee based network – a blogging site. How can I be certain you and I are talking the same language. I actually here many businesses and moguls doing this and recommending it. I guess I will research what you are saying, thanks for the heads up.

“Staff freely suspend any website here they believe to exist purely for the purpose of driving traffic to an external website.”
I clearly don’t blog for that purpose. it is pretty obvious in my work.
