  How does your blog become a recommended blog? Does this vary week to week? Who decides this and your category? Is it done by amount of hits, subscribers or something else? Thanks.

  Howdy,

  Freshly Pressed is when we pick a handful of posts each day to highlight and is different than Recommended Blogs, which are rather static, though we do continually add/remove blogs from the last.

  It’s all manual. Our editorial team look around for interesting content, read what was passed to them from other staff at WordPress.com, see what is being shared a fair amount on social network. In short, there’s not a recipe for it.
