Hello – I am a new blogger looking for recommended reading to get started with WordPress.com. I am looking for technical information about using WordPress.com in the form of a book for a beginner like myself.
I am a web designer with no experience with css or html. I am also interested in using plugins on my site to enhance the design since I am a designer. Any recommended books for a beginner would be greatly appreciated. URL listed below: Much thanks! Heather

There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers can’t install plugins for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install plugins. I am planning on blogging about our craft with blog entries running on the home page. Is the Twenty Twelve theme suited for this?
Can I easily switch over to wordpress.org at a latter date if I would like to utilize plugins or widgets to link to my etsy store?
