Recommended Tags

Lately I’ve noticed that the same recommended tags have beens showing up when I write a post and this would be fine if they actually had anything to do with what I was writing about. The recommended tag system use to work extremely well. But for instance the last two days I’ve been writing about my winter holiday and I’m getting the same tags: United States, WikiLeaks, julian assange and today there was the added Skiining and Sports. None of these are topics in my post. Nothing could even be remotely related to this topics. I understand some people like to randomly pick tags that are of trendy/popular topics, that’s not how I operate. So I’m wondering if others are noticing this or is it something weird with my blog.
I know this who wikileaks thing is the big current event of lately but is there some weird advertisement scheme going on with wikileaks and wordpress? I just find it extremely disconcerting for this specific tag to continuously show up when I’m not blogging about it.

The only Tags and/or Categories that ought to be appearing on your posts are those that you personally assign to them and no others. If you are witnessing Tags appearing on posts on your WordPress.com free hosted blog that you did not personally assign to them prior to publication then you need to contact Staff.
