Reconfiguring Posts to aid browsing

I’m working with Twenty Eleven format. I have several questions relating to Posts.
1 – To clean up the page and lessen the words is it possible to remove the lines that reference Catergories and Tags. Not sure why that is important for the reader who found the page to need to know that.
2 – Is it possible to have widgets on Posts? I like to keep my readers engaged and let them simply look at a list of other articles and jump to that. At present they have to hunt around the menu.
3 – Likewise, is there a way to make returning to the another page easier than going back up to the small menu and clicking there. Would be great to have a drop down or link on any posts that gets them back to other posts. At present they would have to go hunting
    4. What happens when the number of posts exceed the number set for the sidebar? Where can people go to see previous posts. I went looking for a post today that was older and couldn’t find it. Kept going back through “previous” but never found it. If someone really wants to look at all of my history what do they do?
    Thanks, Craig

Will you please start out by reading this article? It describes the unique features of the Twenty Eleven theme so you will be aware of how it is coded to operate. For example it is not coded to display sidebars on single posts.
