reconfiguring two sites – switching URL's and names

I have three blogs through wordpress…and I am trying to refocus two of theme.
1. Mandala Chakra – this shoud be the primary name for this site. I am wanting Mandala Shaman to also redirect to that site. I own both URL’s for mandalachara.com and mandalashaman.com and want them both pointing to Mandala Chakra with Mandala Chakra being the primary name and what you see in the address bar.
2. Sending Tree – which used to be Mandala Shaman – I am trying to have sendingtree.com be the primary for that, I own that URL and it is pointed to you. I want Sending Tree to be what you see in the address bar, right now it is still mandalashaman.
3. Tree Story Project – that is good…no changes….Can you help me. I tried to reconfigure this on my own but I have it screwed up I think and I would appreciate some support. Thank you, Laural

I do have a fourth blog that is not active, (email visible only to moderators and staff) that could be merged with sending tree. I only want the three blogs.
1. Mandala Chakra/Mandala Shaman
2. Sending Tree/Laural Virtues Wauters
3. Tree Story ProjectI do see that if I type http://www.sendingtree.com it takes me to sending tree. But when I go to manage my blogs and I choose sending tree it takes me to mandala chakra. This is where I am confused.

Let’s work through these one at a time. Don’t worry, we’ll get it figured out!
So, here are the 4 sites that I see you have set up (using their _____wordpress.com URLs so we can keep things straight);
1. mandalashaman.wordpress.com/
2. lauralvirtueswauters.wordpress.com/
3. treestoryproject.wordpress.com/
4. mandalachakra.wordpress.com/Here is what I have done, let me know what I have missed:
– sendingtree.com now points to mandalashaman.wordpress.com and shows sendingtree.com as the primary URL
– mandalashaman.com now points to mandalachakra.wordpress.com and shows mandalashaman.com as the primary URLHere is something you will need to do:
– mandalachara.com is not connected to any wordpress.com site or registered here. If you have that name registered elsewhere and want to map it to mandalachakra.wordpress.com, log into your mandalachakra.wordpress.com dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter mandalachara.com in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to map your domain.
Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.

When I go to my icon on the upper right side to manage my blogs. I see sending tree, mandala chakra, laural virtues wauters and tree story project. Here is the problem I am still having.
1. When I click on sending tree under manage my blogs it takes me to mandala chakra not sending tree. If I type in sendingtree.com it brings me to the right site which used to be mandala shaman. So can we fix this within wordpress in the manage my blogs section??
2. Also I want to have Laural Virtues Wauters be pointed to sending tree and not be its own blog. Can that be done???

Okay, so right now I’m seeing that it looks like you deleted lauralvirtueswauters.wordpress.com. Is that correct? And if so, does that solve your issue with that site?
As for #1 above, are you still seeing that? It should update to send you to the right place. If it doesn’t,let me know and I will look into it a bit further.

Hi again,
Well it seems that this is not destined to work so I have to change back to make it simpler.
1. I went in and reset mandalashaman as mandalashaman versus sending tree. Sending tree will not exist right now. Please have mandalashaman.wordpress.com and mandalashaman.com poin to mandalashaman which it has always been until I switched it to sending tree.
2. I also reset mandalachakra as mandalachakra versus mandalashaman. Please have both mandalachakra.wordpress.com and mandalachakra.com point to the mandalachakra website. I had tried to rename this as mandalashaman but it is confusing everyone and everything so I need to go back to where I was.
3. Keep treestoryproject as is.

1. Mandalashaman – site with mountain and sunset
2. Mandalachakra – site with hand drawn mandalasCan you help me with this again…
When I go in to my dashboard even with the new name of sendingtree the title bar would switch back to mandala shaman same thing happened with mandala chakra…so they are telling me to keep ther original names..:)

1. mandalashaman.com is now pointing to mandalashaman.wordpress.com
2. mandalachakra.com is not registered here. It is registered through GoDaddy and seem to perhaps have a forward or redirect set up through them that points to mandalashaman.wordpress.com. You will need to change that through GoDaddy.
3. Did not touch treestory.Let me know how that looks.

I do have mandalachakra.wordpress.com through you…yes I also do have it with godaddy mandalachakra.com but not sure why you don’t see it. It shows up in “my blogs” and in the wordpress structure etc..?

I really need to protect this site as I put a lot of work into it. I did not change anything at go daddy, it always pointed to mandala chakra…
here is another wordpress link so you can see that I do have it set up with you, but yes, now it seems to be pointing to mandala shaman..yikes!!!

I did just purchase domain mapping through wordpress for mandalachakra to point to mandalachakra.wordpress.com but then when tried to make it my primary it won’t let me do that. It still is pointing to Mandala Shaman. I am wondering why you aren’t able to see that I do have a mandala chakra wordpress site????

okay, it’s probably late and I just inundated you with e-mails….but now neither of my blogs is working…
Goals:
1. To restore mandalashaman.wordpress.com and mandalashaman.com to both point to mandalashaman.wordpress.com
2. To restore mandalachakra.wordpress.com and mandalachakra.com to both point to mandalachakra.com (when I created this I originally used the blog name I had Awaken Within…and I bought the upgrades to use a premium site….does that help to bring any clarity into this??
At this point both blogs/sites are not accessible by either of their domain names…:(
I did try to re awaken awakenwithin.wordpress.com but it says it is already taken but there is no site…is that me?? Is that name still in my query??
Again, thank you for help but now I feel things are really screwed up and I’m not sure why??

First off, let me assure you of something that you may need to hear right now:
Your content has not gone anywhere. That is part of the reason we always have ____.wordpress.com URL’s. So that even if domains get messed up (or in worst case scenerios, lost) the content is still there and available.
So, all we need to do is figure out what has happened and get the domains straightened out. I will work on that.

When I read this, I take it to mean that you are asking that when someone enters either mandalachakra.wordpress.com or mandalachakra.com into their browser, that they are sent to mandalachakra.wordpress.com. Which, as I see it, is happening. If I enter either of those in my browser address bar, I am sent to mandalachakra.wordpress.com and mandalachakra.wordpress.com is displayed as the “primary” domain address.
Now, am I missing something? Would you prefer mandalachakra.com to appear in the browser as the primary domain? When you say “point to” are you talking about when you click on a “my blogs” list?
I just want to make sure we’re talking about the same thing and to figure out what I am misunderstanding.

What I am freaking out about is the fact that Mandalashaman.wordpress.com and mandalashaman.com are both not working!!!!
This is my primary blog and I am needing to get out a november post but no one can access it. I can get into it to make a new post which I did and people got the e-mail but when they went to the site/blog if is not available.
Please find out how to restore mandalashaman so it is visible again to the public. Mandalachakra is a separate site and it is fine the way it is…
