reconnect to domain

  My site went down but I now have access again but word press can not reconnect. My ftp username had to be changed . How do I change it for word press? Plus my version of word press changed to what looks like an old style? The tool bar has nothing in it like it did when I first started to use it?

  You better ask that question in the WordPress.org forum, not here in the WordPress.com forum ;) Sounds like you are using a self hosted WordPress.org site. If you don’t know the difference, you can learn more about it here.
