Reconnecting with LinkedIn

Followed all the steps in your support documentation but this is the message I repeatedly received after several attempts to reconnect with LinkedIn:
‘There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again.’
How are you going to solve this problem?
I’m curious.

This is the message I get on a blank page: “There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again.”
Both ways I tried: while writing a posting the message came up (right column) to reconnect with LinkedIn so I clicked the button.
And secondly I (also repeatedly) I went via the sharing settings with the same result.BTW thanks for quick reply!!! Much appreciated.

Can you try something on the LinkedIn end for me?
Visit the “Manage Privacy and Settings” page on LinkedIn here:
https://www.linkedin.com/settings/?trk=nav_account_sub_nav_settings
Near the bottom, click on Groups, Companies & Applications. (Looks like this)
Then click “View Your Applications”
Do you see WordPress.com listed there? If so, remove it. Then try out the connection again from WordPress.com.
