  Hi there,
  I am trying to record audio and add it to my website. I see how to add the audio button but how can I record audio? Any tips? I tried Soundcloud but you can’t record there – only upload. I can only seem to upload. I don’t know how to record so that I can upload. Any help would be appreciated.

  WordPress itself doesn’t have a recording audio widget.
  There are some plugins that might work (but you’ll need a paid plan for this), depending on what you want.
  But also, it depends on the type of the audio and the quality you need: For example, do you want to record a song or a voice message?
  I think that you should look outside of WordPress for the best way to record what you need, and then add it to your blog in the most suitable format offered. (Spotify embed, Podcast, Audio playlist, etc.)
  Maybe If you tell us more about the specifics maybe we can pitch some ideas.
