recorded message from WordPress about expiration

  A recorded message from WP was left on my voicemail a few days ago telling me something was going to expire very soon (I believe that’s what it said, but I deleted the message and can’t go back and listen to it). I logged in to my account and I don’t have any upgrades. It says my domain name never expires. So I’m not sure what I am supposed to renew. Any thoughts?

  Since WordPress.COM does not do phone support and only emails expiration notices it is not likely it was really from WordPress.COM and since you don’t have any upgrades to expire it was probably some sort of scam or prank not from WordPress.COM

  I have flagged this for staff attention

  No thanks. Just puzzled by the phone call. Guess it wasn’t really from WordPress.

  Sounds like it. Unfortunately, WordPress.com is a pretty big name. Hopefully these spam calls don’t become more frequent. :(
