Recover a Blog

  Hi all,

  i am a noob to wordpress but i have been using this to create a blog / site and i have log in today and it has gone. All the pages have been deleted and there is nothing there.

  Any ideas how i can recover this?

  What is the blog you are having trouble with? The site linked to your name is empty and has been around since Dec 2009, not a new site or account. We need the link to give you accurate help.

  The blog i am having trouble with is completekeeper.wordpress.com i was on there about two days ago and now it has gone! Any ideas?

  Did you by chance copy and paste content into your blog? Can you log into the site through the Dashboard? You might have a formatting problem with a Post. If you can log into your site from the dashboard then.

  Dashboard >> Writing >> WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically – check that box

  Then go to the Edit Posts and try editing your most recent Post to t and add a space to it then save the update and see if that works –

  then repeat if your blog is not visible

  you probable have a formatting problem with a Post – or you can set many Posts to Draft with the bulk edit until your site comes back then save changes one at a time.

  sorry about the instructions – a couple of others have a much better copy and paste and this is from memory.

  Also if you can’t get to the Dashboard go straight to the staff.

  Thanks for the help. But nothing is there its like my who blog, pages and posts have all gone. :(
