Recover a deleted blog?

  Can I recover my deleted blog, if I can prove that I was the previous owner?
  I used to have a blog in this site, but then I moved it to a personal domain (when I could afford one). Due to circumstances out of my control, I lost that domain and now I would like to recover my previous wordpress.com blog. I was the original creator of it, and I would like to continue its operation, if possible.

  I’m sorry but that’s not possible. There are no exceptions made. Deleted blog URLs here are not recycled.

  That’s why 3 warnings are given and why a verification link in an email that must be clicked is sent in order to accomplish deletion.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
