Recover access without proof of ownership
-
We have found an inactive blog created by someone from our company. I don’t know who created it and we want to take it down. I have no credentials but is there a way to know the email used to register the account?

wordpress.com has a very strict account recovery policy to avoid security breaches. WordPress.com doesn’t just give you access on demand. I tagged this with modlook to get advice from Staff members.

We can only accept the proofs of ownership listed at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Understood. Still, we have a dormant blog that looks like an official company’s information. It was definitely created by our employee, we just don’t know who it was (huge organization). Where can we submit a legal claim to regain ownership?
Thanks! -
