Recover address

    I registered two sites and wordpress was using the first username on the second site I created. I tried to change the username and I got a message saying the site already existed. That was my own site, but I could not change my username (even if it was created under the same email address). So, I deleted both to start all over again. Now, I cannot recover the name I really want.

    If you’re already logged in on WordPress.com and create a new site, it will be associated with that username.

    Once a blog has been created, we reserve the username for that blog so no one else can register that username. I suspect that may be what happened in this case.

    I don’t see any blogs under your australianewsbrazil account. What is the username you were trying to create, and the associated blog?
