Did you not get our email reply to you in the email “Recover Atavist Project” possibly?
I see one of our Happiness Engineers emailed you to say that we fixed the issue with your export file, and provided a new file that should correctly import image content.
I’ve replied to the email thread (as well as here) so you should see it in the top of your inbox. Please download the updated XML export file attached in the email, and let us know if that works, thanks.

Please look on that page, and you will see the email address we sent our recent reply to, and can search that inbox for the subject “Recover Atavist Project” to find the email with attached XML

Yes, as well it will have the correct linking instructions to import images from the Atavist servers to your new site. Looks like that was getting skipped and has now been repaired in your corrected XML file.

Do you see it if you search for help@wordpress.com in your email tool? That is the address that is used for our past correspondance with you, and I see we emailed back and forth in this way so you should see the message in your email. Possibly it will appear as an older email with more recent replies “threaded in” but I am not sure how things would look since I can’t tell what email client you are using.
For now I have uploaded the XML file as a .zip archive here: https://wordpress.com/media/wunc388455096.wordpress.com
Once you download that file, open it on your computer and you will see the XML file inside, and can use it to import your Atavist site into an WordPress site instead.

When I try and click on the XML file link you sent, it goes to a blank page that says “You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.”
Can you please try and email me the file again?

Hi @thecollaborators2, If you submitted the right data in the form, someone will be able to get back to you when that’s done. There is some wait time since the recovery attempt is a bit of a process.

I have sent a form three times.
Please do not submit the form more than once. Submitting the form multiple times can result in it taking longer to get a response.
