This blog belongs to me. I created it when I was a teenager, but I’m not sure what email or login I used. How can I recover access? I’d really hate to lose it. 😊

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi @eldaseinblog

Step 1 — Try every email address you remember

Think back to what email accounts you had when you created the blog. Common ones people forget:

    • An old school or university email
    • An early Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo account
    • A family email you may have used at the time

For each one, go to wordpress.com/lost-password and enter the email. If WordPress.com has it on file, a reset link will be sent there immediately.

Step 2 — Try logging in with a username

If you remember any username you used back then, go to wordpress.com/log-in and try logging in with the username instead of an email, WordPress.com supports both.

Step 3 — Check old devices

If you have access to an old phone, tablet, or laptop you used as a teenager, check if any browser has saved login credentials for WordPress.com, sometimes old passwords are stored there without you realising.

    Step 4 — Contact WordPress.com support directly

If none of the above works, this is your best path forward. Go to wordpress.com/help/contact and explain:

    • The blog URL: enletraalta.wordpress.com
    • That you created it as a teenager and no longer remember the email
    • Any details that prove ownership, the approximate year you created it, what the blog was about, any post titles or content you remember

The support team can perform a manual account review. The more specific details you can provide about the blog’s content, the stronger your case for ownership.

Hey there, in addition to what @kudufo mentioned, if you had notifications of new comments enabled on your site, try leaving a comment on a post and then checking all your email accounts to see where the notification went.
