recover blog address

  recover deleted blog. I was in the process of changing my user name, which also meant I wanted to change my domain. I changed the domain from “cherylsgiftsofgab.wordpress.com” to “givinggiftsofgab.wordpress.com” The option that I selected when changing it was to delete “cherylsgiftsofgab” and replace it with “givinggiftsofgab”. Now it says my blog has been deleted and I cannot use the “givinggiftsofgab” domain, the one that I really need to use. Can you please help me? I did NOT select for it to be deleted.

  cherylsgiftsofgab.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  The multiple warnings that deleting a blog URL is permanent and irreversible provided throughout the deletion process say it all.
  You can’t recover a deleted blog URL. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  However, the good news is that you can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
