Recover Cancelled Domain Name

  I cancelled my domain name only hours after registering same. Is there a way to recover said domain name through the wordpress platform? When I type that domain into the wordpress domain search, it says it’s ‘unavailable.’ Please advise.

  Thanks for your payment. I’ve reactivated the domain on your account and it should be working again.

  If you want to point the domain to another provider to use with a site there, you can follow the steps outlined here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/

  Note that you’ll only be able to transfer the domain to another provider once you’ve owned it for at least 60 days, but you can use the other methods to point it elsewhere in the meantime.
