  No. There were many warnings when it was deleted about it being permanent. Once a URL is deleted, it is gone forever.

  No, there is no exception. That’s why it warns you three times in the deleting process that the process is permanent.

  I deleted the blog around 2009 if I am not mistaken. Out of emotional feeling :)) ridiculous and stupid time .. cant hardly remember about the three times warning

  2009… the warnings were probably not as strong as they are now, but there were still warnings.

  You can try perhaps putting a 1 on the end of the name, or some other variation. Give it some though and see what you can come up with.

  One last question, is it really really gone (permanently deleted) or it is actually still there but wordpress.com just won’t recover deleted url/blog?

  Yahoo probably still has a cached version kicking around somewhere (Yahoo CHina never seems to delete anything) but most search engines will have long since wiped it off their listings. And as for WP.com itself, yes, the content is really truly gone.

  Well.. Why I have completely downloaded the housewife9988.wordpress.com and then put to lifeb4nafter50.wordpress.com but some pictures were gone???? that was the reason, I thought I can still go back to the lst link?
  It seemed blogspot.com can do that!
