You have to register an underlying .wordpress.com blog URL (it doesn’t matter what it is) in order to domain map to your morningpeony.com URL. Are you clear on that?

WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. Domain mapping of an existing domain URL that you already own and purchased elsewhere is not done free of charge. You will have to renew the domain name purchase where you made it and the domain mapping purchase here every year.

Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually and a domain name purchase and domain mapping are included in the Premium ujpgrade bundle.

In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from and it does not matter what that underlying .wordpress.com URL is. It does not have to match the domain URL.

If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and as you own that domain already you can see here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

It can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

You cannot register any deleted blog URL. One has to ignore at least three warnings stating that deletion is permanent and irreversible and then click a verification link in an email to delete a blog. That’s because deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

You can register another .wordpress.com blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

yes i didn’t have my computer when someone wanted to delete my stuff from my computer – someone had a hold of it.
what you’re saying is that i cannot get my morningpeony.wordpress.com back even though i personally the one who made it didn’t delete it?

This domain URL is parked free of charge http://morningpeony.comby GoDaddy.

If you want to use it on a .wordpress.com blog I have already provided the instructions above for how to register a .wordpress.com blog URL, purchase a domain mapping upgrade, and map to an existing domain.

http://morningpeony.com/ – loads to a WordPress.COM blog for me that is alive and well – but has no content in it –

The nothing found is the standard message when there is no content in a blog

It looks like you have domain forwarding and masking in place for your domain name – that has some issues and is not the best solution – you should use domain mapping for proper performance and search engine use

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ $13./year

    No Domain Mapping Found

There is no domain mapping upgrade for morningpeony.com. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping.

There is information on how to set up domain mapping in our support documentation. If you need help after that, please contact our support team.
