Recover Deleted Domain Name

Hi, I am building another website and wanted to use my wordpress domain. I cancelled the subscription but then made the mistake of deleting the domain too. Is there any way I can get it back? Or just make sure it is deleted so that I can use it for my other website?
The deleted domain name was a custom domain name which I paid for. The domain name is http://www.kailicolors.com

Hi! Cancelling a domain won’t free it up actually, it’ll just send it back to the registrar for a long redemption process. Luckily we were able to un-cancel it for you!
If you need to use it with a different site, no problem. Staff can help you move it to a different site here on WordPress.com, or if you need to use the domain elsewhere, you have a few options:
– Update your DNS settings
– Update your name servers
– Transfer the domain itself
Ask your host which option they need you to use, then update us here.

I would like to use the domain elsewhere. this is what it says here:
“In your domain settings, find the area where you manage or edit nameserver records. This area could be called DNS settings, Nameservers, NS or similar. If you don’t see it immediately, try looking for a menu at the top or on the side of the page.”
