Recover Deleted Site
-
Hello,
I tried logging in to a site I previously had. It says that the site has been deleted, which weirdly enough was not done by me. I’m not sure if this is because:
1. It’s been inactive for too long
2. Someone else somehow managed to get into my account and did itI need to recover it but I need to acquire the activation link/key that’s needed for the account recovery form. It was initially sent to an old email address and I would like to resend it to that email. Do you think you can help me find the resend activation link section so I can proceed and get a hold of my site again? It’s a pretty urgent matter so I hope I can get help on this ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

I do not see any sites under your @flof92fad21196f WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login? Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks so much for your swift reply. I am not sure which hosting server we used initially as this is a series of handover works. The URL of the website is hausflora.com, maybe this can help identify the matter?
Thank you again for your assitance.

Hi there,
hausflora.com has never been connected to any site on WordPress.com, so no login for that site exists with us, and your content has never been on our servers.
It looks like your domain is registered with Google Domains, and it is currently hosted at https://www.hostinger.com/. Prior to that it appears the domain was also hosted at Google, and at https://www.namebright.com/ before that, so you can try contacting those hosting providers to ask if any of them might still have a copy of your site’s content.
