Recover Domain

  My domain recently expired and would like to renew it. I am not quite sure how to find that option.

  Hi there,

  Your domain expired on 19 May and has since been removed from our system. It is now in what is called the redemption period. That’s a period expired domains go through after about 42 days where the registrar is preparing sell the domain to someone else.

  At the moment I might still be able to get the domain back, but our registrar charges a $80 fee for this which you’ll need to pay in addition to the renewal cost of the domain.

  If you’re willing to pay this, let me know and I can email you a link to pay for the recovery and also email our registrar to ask them to restore the domain.

  Otherwise you can wait a few weeks when your domain should be released again and you can then register it at the regular price. But please be aware that someone else might be able to buy it before you have the opportunity, so if you decide to not redeem the domain you run a very real risk of losing it completely.
