Recover domain

    I used to have a premium account and had the domain with it, but decided to change to a basic account since I don’t use it as much to pay for it. How can I recover my domain? I still want to be able to use it in the future

    Hi, you would need to re-register the domain. It’s been released, so you can do that.

    Please be advised, you will need a hosting plan for the domain to work as a primary site address:
    https://wordpress.com/pricing

    If you were to buy the domain alone, it would redirect any social media / search engine links from yourdomain.com to the same page at the free address.
