Recover domain

    Hi, I created a domain name ‘GradLifeAU.com’ and I accidentally said delete the domain. Is it possible for me to recover the domain name again? I heard it is accessible within 30 days. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    You appear to have canceled the Personal plan under your account, which also canceld your domain name since it was included in the plan. I can confirm you have been refunded at this point but, you do have a few options for getting it back, let us know which you would like to move forward with!

    1. Wait for grace period to end – Your domain is in a 5 day grace period (from the time you cancelled) but at the end of that it goes on sale again. As long as no one buys it before you do, you can purchase it again with another provider. According to our records it will be available on or about DATE
    2. Let us recover the domain – Because you have already been refunded, we can send an invoice for registration fees and restore the domain. You’ll be able to connect it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days.
    3. Stay on WordPress.com – The cost of your domain is included in your plan purchase if you choose the annual plan option. To restore your domain just purchase a new plan, choose the annual option, and then let us know so we can reattach the domain to your WordPress.com site.
