recover domain

  I am looking to recover a domain that I deleted this morning. I can’t seem to find it but when I put it in a domain availability site, it shows as still being active until October 2025.

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  I understand how stressful it can be to lose access to a domain, but don’t worry—there may still be a way to recover it!

  1. Check Purchases: Go to https://wordpress.com/me → Purchases. If your domain is in the grace period (10–14 days), you can click Renew Now to recover it.
  2. Redemption Period: If the grace period has passed, it might be in the redemption period, requiring a redemption fee. Check your Purchases page or contact WordPress.com support for assistance.
  3. If Released: If the domain has been released, it can be registered by anyone. Try re-registering it through WordPress.com or another registrar.
