Recover expired domain name

    Hello. I used to have a WordPress site with the domain name rebeccawait.com but I deleted my site and let the domain expire in 2022. But now I’m building a new website and would like to recover my old domain name. It’s not appearing on the list of available domains, but it doesn’t seem to be in use either, so I think WordPress are still holding it. Is there any way it can be released so I can repurchase it? Thank you.

    Hi! I checked that domain for and you, and unfortunately, because the domain is long expired it’s now owned by a domain “parking” company. For that reason, it’s unlikely you’ll be able to own in the future.

    I’d suggest choosing a new domain for your site, which you can do from here:
    https://wordpress.com/domains/
