recover free site address that was accidentally deleted

  I am new to creating websites and didn’t fully understand how changing the website address would render the site fully deleted and the site address would never be available in the future.
  Is it possible to somehow “release” a WordPress.com address that I “accidentally” deleted so that I could possibly use it again in the future?

  Also, if I change the site address from one name to another, don’t I have access to both sites? Or not? Do I only have access to my “current” site even if they were both created under my account?

  I find it easier to create an additional site rather than changing addresses (especially if you expected still to be able to use the first address). What is the address of the site you have deleted?

  I was able to successfully restore your deleted blog. Please note that this is usually not possible, and there are many clear warnings throughout the deletion process.

  Be very careful with that delete button in the future! :)

  can the blog/website you restored be linked to my account somehow? I can see the website, but I would like to be able to edit/add content and I don’t know how to manage two different websites using the same account on wordpress.

  Try now — it looks like the site was restored, but your account was somehow not restored to it. That’s done now.
