Recover Hosted Files

  My business plan expired; thus, my custom theme is no longer available. Is it possible to renew my business plan and recover my previous website and content? My domain did renew, and I still have access. I just need to recover my files from my previous business plan wordpress.

  Hi there,

  How long ago did your business plan expire? If it was a while ago, and they already sent you reminding emails it might not be possible to recover content.

  Sites on the Business plan are on a different infrastructure and use much more resources than free sites. So, when a Business plan expires we notify the owner multiple times beforehand and we keep both the site the backups online for a little while. Then we delete them to free up resources.

  You can buy a new Business Plan for that site, and then reactivate/reinstall your custom theme if you want.

  But after your Business Plan expired in May last year it was deemed inactive, and in August the site was reverted to how it was before you installed your custom theme. This also means that all content you added to the site after installing the theme was deleted.

  At this point we no longer have any backups for your site on file, as those aren’t stored indefinitely, so there is no longer any way to restore the deleted content.
