  Hi there, I hope you can help. I have a blog that I haven’t written on for a few years. My husband passed away and I stopped writing on my site. I want to be able to get back into it now and cannot access it even though I’ve reset my password I can not access the admin dashboard. Please help, thanks Vicky

  The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

  Wordpress.com has a procedure if the owner a site passed away, https://wordpress.com/support/deceased-user/

  I’m sorry to hear about your loss.

  Just to clarify, are you trying to regain access to your own account that owns that site? If so, please follow our recovery process at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/ to verify your ownership.

  The process @staartmees linked to above if if you’re trying to claim ownership over a site/account your husband had with us.
