Hi there,
We can restore deleted sites for 30 days after deletion.
However, http://mobetmatt.wordpress.com/ was deleted over a year ago, in February 2019. That site’s content has been permanently removed from our system, and the address disabled, so it’s no longer possible to restore that site or for anyone to use that address.

My wife deleted her website (quiltiferous.wordpress.com) last Sunday, and is trying to get it recovered. She started the site over ten years ago, but did not set up two factor authentication and does not have the e-mail that was sent to her ten years ago to launch the site. Who does she need to talk to in order to get the site recovered?

Hi, how did she log in last week to delete the site? Have her do that again, and then post here so we can restore the site. Please just do it as soon as possible, since can only restore sites within 30 days of deletion.

She’ll need to reply to the deletion confirmation email then, asking for her account and site to be restored. Hoping that helps!

She has looked through all of her e-mails, and did not receive a confirmation of deletion e-mail. Is it possible for that to be sent or resent to the e-mail address she had attached to the account?

It’s not possible for us to resend an account closure email, no.
If the email is not in the inbox, it might be in spam, or if she’s using a Gmail address, in the Social or Updates folders instead of the inbox.
Else ask her to email passwordhelp[at]wordpress.com from the email address that was connected to that account for help with this.
