Good afternoon,
I recently communicated with the previous owner of this website, who unfortunately lost access to their original email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff). Consequently, our company’s website is now inaccessible. I am seeking to recover our website lpinspiredrenovations.com. The previous owner mentioned that the last time they worked on it, it was with WordPress.com, but the domain they used is currently active with Wix.com. How can I transfer the website over to Wix.com, where we currently hold a premium account?

Hi there – We’re not finding anything that would give us the impression that this site was ever hosted here at WordPress.com. I’ve used a public Internet archive to see what versions of your site they had recorded. The most recent I find is from December of 2023. A couple of things about that…
First, you could copy the content from what you find there to place into a Wix site you build. It’s manual, but possible.
Second, sites hosted at WordPress.com almost always say “WordPress.com” at the bottom of the site. I don’t see that on this site at any point in the history that is made available by Wayback Machine. I recommend going to your accounting team and having them review payment histories to see if you can locate a web host you might have been paying to host the site somewhere between 2020 and 2023.
