Recover name deleted site "xxxxx.wordpress"

  Hello.

  I have created one wordpress blog in the name of filosofiaenestudio.

  Unfortunately I deleted that blog but when i try to create a new blog with the same name it shows already exits.

  Please tell me how to get back to my old blog or deleting this completely and how to create new with old name.

  Help will be much appreciated.

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately there is no way to get this address back. Once any address or username is used, it cannot be re-opened nor fully deleted. We do specify this when you are deleting the blog address and require that you check a box stating that you understand that you won’t be able to get your blog address back.

  I understand the legal reasons, but there shouldn’t be any problem if it’s the SAME USER who deleted and tried to recover the name.

  So, please WordPress, rethink that issue and allow user’s to recover their own names…

  I completely understand what you’re saying, and it’s a change that we have been considering. That said, it’s still not something which we are able to do at this time.
